My education:
A bachelor’s degree in finance from Roosevelt University, an MBA in finance and accounting from Webster University, and the daily inspiration I receive from my wife and two sons.

A fun fact:
I’m an avid Chicago sports fan. If I wasn’t a commercial banker, I would want to be coaching sports full time.

After 35 years in banking, I’m a good listener. In order to help a company grow, and manage my clients’ expectations, I have to listen. I want to know how they started, what their pain points are, and what their goals are. Ideally, over time, I become a trusted advisor.

I’m passionate about:
Investing my time on things that matter. Serving on the board of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and Heartland Housing both great investments of my time! Continuing to focus on building relationships with middle market business owners is also a great investment of my time. And, of course, my family is a very enjoyable investment of my time.

I have been in banking since 2015. I work for the best bank in the Chicagoland area. I wouldn't be able to accomplish anything without this amazing and dedicated team. 

My clients give me a closing date and know they don't have to worry about whether funding will be ready. They call me at 7:00 p.m. knowing that I will always make time for them. They bring me complex problems knowing that I will develop thoughtful, creative solutions because I enjoy finding a way over, through, or around a challenging obstacle.

My wife and two sons, who are both under the age of three, are my greatest passions. When I find a free minute, which is rare, I enjoy playing guitar and video games. I also love movies, especially those directed by the Coen Brothers, and I enjoy studying economic trends and the stock market.

I have spent my entire career working primarily with privately held, lower middle market manufacturers and therefore have a wide range of experience with the opportunities and challenges owners face in the industry.
